But it makes sense the bigger the fish the more eggs they produce.This article made me realize that in marine life size matters. The bigger your are the more offsprings you have. I personally don't eat fish because I don't like the fish flavor. I like shrimp. But focusing on the fish topic, bigger fish should be protected because they produce more eggs than the smaller fish.
